1 tsp sugar (or brown sugar, which will give the cocktail a cloudy color)
3 cloves
3/4 cup hot water
1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 slice of lemon
Mix potcheen, sugar, cloves, water and lemon juice in a tumbler or mug (feel free to adjust to suit your taste).
Rub lemon around the rim of glass.
Add lemon to glass, stir and serve warm. Also delicious served over ice.
